Program Description

We foster student research in landscape architecture that connects human experience and the environment. We advocate for a more just future that honors the ground we walk on and the people we walk with.

Program Goals:

  1. To prepare students for professional careers based on a foundation of Investigation, research and scholarship.
  2. To analyze, comprehend, communicate and design a site.
  3. To develop criteria for scholarly work and design projects that address the boundaries of current practice.

Degree Types

  • MLA1 3 year LAAB Accredited program
  • MLA2 30 credit degree for Landscape Architects
