Undergraduate Studies: University of Maryland, College Park
Program: Maya received her M.S. in Physics from Rutgers. She then returned to the University of Maryland for the remainder of her Ph.D., working in the area of Experimental Circuit Quantum Electrodynamics (CQED). After receiving her PhD, she would like to continue in the field of research. She finds national laboratories appealing but is keeping an open mind about options. Maya feels that Rutgers’ graduate program is truly great, especially considering the strong reputation of Physics and Astronomy.
