Program Description
By conducting independent research under the mentorship of a faculty advisor, the Graduate Program in Cellular & Molecular Pharmacology prepares students for research-oriented careers in the biomedical sciences. Students who apply to this program are admitted via Molecular Biosciences, a first-year umbrella program that provides a core curriculum, as well as the opportunity to sample laboratories through rotations. Students tailor their training through selection of additional courses from a variety of disciplines.
Upon admission to the Ph.D. Program, students receive fellowship support for a full year, including tuition and health insurance coverage. Funding is assured for the duration of Ph.D. training provided students are making progress and in good academic standing.
