Dr. Zakiyah Henry, former RISE student, SUPER-Grad fellow, and now a postdoc at NIH NIEHS has received the Stanley S. Bergen Medal of Excellence.

Congratulations to Zachary Finkel on graduating with his Ph.D. from the program of biomedical engineering. Zachary was a RISE alumni and SUPER-Grad Recipient. We are excited to see what he does next. We are happy to announce that both Steven Clark and Sabrina Appel have successfully defended their Ph.D. in the Rutgers physics department. These two Physics and Astronomy REU participants crossed the finish line in their race to their PhD within 30 minutes of each other! We are always glad to see our Super Grads and Alumni prosper!
We want to congratulate the RISE 2022 scholar, Joy Akeju, for their recent publication in GBE. Their article can be found HERE.
We want to congratulate the RISE 2023 scholar Chase Bebo for his continuing his work as a full-time research technician under the guidance of Abhishek Roychowdhury from Navajo Technical University in conjunction with Sean Kinney from Rutgers University. We wish him the best as he finishes up his two prospective manuscripts before advancing into graduate school.
