SGS and the Rutgers SACNAS Chapter are proud to be active participants at the National Diversity in STEM (NDiSTEM) Conference the week of Oct. 25-29. Sponsored by SACNAS (Society Advancing Chicanos/Hispanics & Native Americans in Science), NDiSTEM is the largest multidisciplinary and multicultural STEM diversity event in the country. At the conference (virtual this year), over 5000 undergraduate students through faculty benefit from cutting-edge research presentations, professional development and networking opportunities, and motivational keynote speakers. Rutgers graduate students and undergraduates as well as participants from the RISE at Rutgers summer research program deliver oral presentations and present posters on their research. At the Graduate School Expo Hall, a team of 10 Rutgers Exhibitors, led by SGS, will host a booth all week. Our representatives will meet with student attendees to promote graduate and summer research opportunities at Rutgers, helping fulfill our institutional priority “to recruit, retain, and develop a diverse community.”
