2016 RISE Alum Katya Echazarreta was recently featured on the cover of Vogue Mexico
2022 RISE alum Jailen Doyle won 3rd place poster presentation at the Center for Dermal Research: Innovations in Dermatological Sciences Conference. Jailen's poster was titled 'Development and characterization of diclofebac sodium loaded liposomes'.
Jennifer Guzman Pachardo
2018 RISE alum, Jennifer Guzman Pachardo was awarded the prestigious and highly competitive National Science Foundation Graduate Fellowship in the 2022 award cycle.
2017 RISE alum Maricely Ramírez-Hernández was awarded the Graduate Oral Presentation Materials Science category at the SACNAS NDiSTEM conference held in San Juan, Puerto Rico October 26- 29, 2022.

- Won a best poster award at the 2022 Annual Biomedical Research Conference for Minoritized Scientists (ABRCMS) which she presented during the virtual component of the conference.
- Presented at the in-person SACNAS National Diversity in STEM conference
- Named a 2023 Governor’s STEM Scholar
