Awards & Honors
Maricely Ramírez-Hernández was awarded the Graduate Oral Presentation Materials Science category at the SACNAS NDiSTEM conference held in San Juan, Puerto Rico October 26- 29, 2022. Maricely presented the work she has been doing under the guidance of Prof. Tewodros "Teddy" Asefa on the repurposing of anthelmintics for bactericidal properties. Maricely is a RISE 2017 alum and a 2018 SUPER-Grad Fellow. She looks forward to defending her thesis in Spring 2023. Congratulations, Maricely!
