Precision medicine is a tailored healthcare approach that customizes treatments and prevention strategies based on an individual's unique genetic makeup, environment, and lifestyle. By integrating vast amounts of data from various sources like genomics, big data, and AI, it aims to move beyond a one-size-fits-all model to offer more precise diagnoses, effective treatments, and proactive disease prevention. Come hear from Rutgers alum Saurabh Laddha, PhD, to learn how he transitioned from graduate school to working at Johnson & Johnson as a Principal Computational Scientist. He will advise current trainees how to prepare for careers in the field of precision medicine.
