Event Description
Come hear from Brandon Higgs, PhD VP, Global Head of Translational Data Science at Genmab about how he uses AI and advanced analytics to support biomarker strategies for clinical programs. He will share advice for current trainees about careers in data science and the future of drug discovery using AI. Prior to joining Genmab, Dr. Higgs was Head of Translational Bioinformatics at Immunocore, where he led discovery of biomarkers for TCR-based bispecific treatments in oncology. Before that, he developed the Translational Bioinformatics function at MedImmune/AstraZeneca supporting precision medicine strategies for drug programs in autoimmunity, respiratory disease, cardiovascular disease, and oncology. He also worked for the government deriving modeling approaches for the CDC and DoD for biothreat identification and syndromic surveillance.
