IMSD Admissions

Dedicated to increasing the diversity of outstanding Ph.D. scientists

About IMSD Admission

Eligible students* admitted to one of the 13 graduate programs listed below can be nominated for an IMSD Traineeship by their individual program. The IMSD Admissions Committee reviews the applications and selects students for IMSD funding. Selected students are provided with up to 18 months of support (salary, tuition, and benefits; up to the limits set by the NIH), with supplemental funds from their School or Program to cover the full costs.

As a member of our community, all IMSD trainees are expected to participate in activities organized by the IMSD program through their entire graduate school experience.
