SUPER-GRAD Fellow and RISE Alum Zoey Eddy Receives Two Prestigious Awards

Congratulations to Zoey Eddy, a second year PhD student in Social Psychology and a 2020 alumna of the RISE at Rutgers summer program, who was awarded two highly competitive national fellowships: a 2023 National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship and a 2023 Ford Foundation Predoctoral Fellowship. In her first year as a Rutgers PhD student (2021-22), Zoey was a School of Graduate Studies SUPER-GRAD Fellow, and she was also selected as a Presidential Fellow. Her advisor is Dr. Diana T. Sanchez of the Psychology Department, who also served as her RISE summer mentor. As a graduate student, Zoey has been active in initiatives to promote Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in our graduate community including serving as a RISE Teaching Fellow in Summer 2022 and as a member of the DEI Graduate Student Advisory Committee.
