Individuals with jobs in Regulatory Affairs negotiate the interaction between the regulators (the government), the regulated (industry), and the market (consumers) to get safe and effective therapies, products and devices to the market. Lara Callander, PhD, MAPP, PCC who has a PhD in Chemistry and worked in pharma for many years is now a professional coach who will lead this workshop. Participants will take the Values in Action (VIA) character strength survey before the event to generate a report which we will reflect upon at the workshop. The goals of the event are to:
1. Review strengths and the value in recognizing them.
2. Prompt the audience to reflect on their individual purpose.
3. Each participant will leave the workshop with an individual mission statement “To use my skills of ______, _______ and _______to [something you want to do in the world] _________.”
