Navigating the Diversity of the University to Support our Graduate Students and Postdocs

Event Description

Join us as Rutgers CAPS Community Based Counselors, Shan Reeves, LCSW, Mei-ling Cheng, LPC and Dana Simons, LPC, discuss the unique challenges facing graduate students and postdocs from underrepresented groups as well as international students with an emphasis on mental health, and how we faculty members can best support these students. We will also discuss a case study and share experiences and advice in mentoring students from underrepresented groups as well as international students.
