  • Chairs the Humanities and Social Sciences Committees for the review of new courses and curricula
  • Supervises and monitors the implementation of student Individual Development Plans
  • Monitors and reviews all exceptions to the SGS seven-year rule policy
  • Prepares annual assessment report for the Assessment Council on Learning Outcomes
  • Chairs the Academic Appeals Committee
  • Facilitates and implements inter-institutional academic agreements with graduate programs as needed

Event Description

The IMSD program is hosting a Bootcamp for incoming IMSD students. The program will include two workshops: “Learning How to Learn”, which will be presented by Hanin Rashid, Ph.D. Associate Director, Office for Advancing Learning, Teaching, and Assessment (ALTA), Assistant Professor, Department of Psychiatry Cognitive Skills Program RWJMS, and “Managing Emotional Wellness”, which will be presented by Dana Simons, MA, LPC, NCC, Community-Based Counselor, Rutgers Student Health.
