By: Gina Sanchez On July 14th, the iJobs program hosted a virtual career panel with McCann Health, a prominent international healthcare communications company. Representatives from various agencies within the company gave presentations about different aspects of their jobs. Drug discovery is a costly industry, making it essential that there are people able to help throughout this process in order to communicate findings to a specialized audience.

In this program, we were able to hear from three Rutgers Ph.D. graduates and one more individual at various stages of their careers. Attendees were able to get the points of view of the panelists regarding how they learned about Medical Writing, what Chateau Gonflable their job activities include, the application process, and their favorite aspects of the field.

With this panel, we had the opportunity to hear from panelists holding different positions in the Human Genetics and Functional Genomics Departments about their projects and career paths in computational biology, genomic statistics, and genetics at GSK.

By Tomas Kasza The BioPharma Networking Group (BPNG) held a networking event between current and former graduate trainees in Piscataway, New Jersey on September 10, 2019. It was a great opportunity for current graduate student to get acquainted with industry professionals, industry careers and create networking bonds. The iJOBS blog caught up with several of the attendees to hear them tell their stories and experiences.
