“SGS Dean’s Fellow Max McCarthy is featured in the New York Times for his impactful research on the decline of the bee population in the NJ wetlands.  Max is a second-year Ph.D. student in the Graduate Program in Ecology & Evolution, working in the lab of Professor Rachael Winfree. Learn more about Max’s efforts to determine if a rare bee species can survive the destruction of its habitat and view great photos of Max out in the field here. Congratulations to Max and Dr. Winfree.
