The workshop will include presentations by:

  • GradFund on how to use their resources at Rutgers for identifying fellowship opportunities and applying for them.
  • A faculty member who serves on NIH study section and reviews fellowship applications with pointers on what reviewers are looking for.
  • A panel of graduate students and their mentors who have successfully obtained funding in the past few years from various organizations.

In this webinar, GradFund fellowship advisors will walk participants through the funding landscape and explore a few key fellowship and grant opportunities available to master’s level students.

The program offers graduate students planning to apply for external funding this fall semester a series of workshops geared towards common issues at the core of successful fellowship application writing. This unique opportunity will allow participants to learn strategic approaches to proposal writing in an interactive workshop style format.

Four workshops will be offered as part of the Strategic Proposal Writing series and will be facilitated by the GradFund Fellowship Advising team. You can select to participate in as many or as few of the workshops as you please.
