Program Description

Our Exposure Science Ph.D. students are immersed in the study of human contact with chemical, physical, or biological agents. Students will investigate contacts occurring in their environments to advance the knowledge of the mechanisms and dynamics of events either causing or preventing adverse health outcomes.

Program Description

The Civil and Environmental Engineering program provides education and research in sustainability and resilience of infrastructures, infrastructure materials and design, transportation planning and management, deploying emerging concepts and technologies in construction, and environmental pollution control, management, and protection of resources.

Cellular & Molecular Pharmacology

Program Description

By conducting independent research under the mentorship of a faculty advisor, the Graduate Program in Cellular & Molecular Pharmacology prepares students for research-oriented careers in the biomedical sciences. Students who apply to this program are admitted via Molecular Biosciences, a first-year umbrella program that provides a core curriculum, as well as the opportunity to sample laboratories through rotations. Students tailor their training through selection of additional courses from a variety of disciplines.

  • Provides administrative support to the Dean and the Senior Associate Dean for Academic Affairs
  • Gathers and processes course proposals, graduate faculty nominations, and other area committee business
  • Coordinates SGS events and functions

Dawn Lopez

Activities

  • Provides administrative support for SGS recruitment and retention initiatives, with a focus on diversity and inclusion
  • Coordinates logistics and budgets for the RISE at Rutgers (Research Intensive Summer Experience) summer undergraduate research program and assists with longitudinal tracking of RISE alumni
  • Supports the Assistant Dean for Recruitment and Retention with Big Ten Academic Alliance initiatives and other SGS special projects
