All students must complete a registration form in order to enroll in any course associated with this Masters degree. All registration forms must be signed by the Senior Associate Dean of the School of Graduate Studies at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, Dr. James Millonig.
The Clinical and Translational Science – M.S. degree requires students to formulate a research question, investigate a problem/issue, report the results and discuss the findings and implications of the study.
Our thesis candidates are expected to design, implement, and complete a research project. The prepared thesis may be developed into a manuscript that is ready for submission to a peer-reviewed professional journal. Below is a list of guidelines and resources for your project.
The Clinical and Translational Science - M.S. Degree is primarily intended for students with advanced science degrees, especially Ph.D., M.D., PharmD, D.O., D.D.S., D.V.M., or other advanced degrees in healthcare-related fields.
Requirements are flexible in that relevant experience may substitute for the educational degree requirements. The M.S. in Clinical and Translational Science is offered as a dual degree option for Robert Wood JMS M.D. students.
Our Clinical and Translational Science – Certificate curriculum requires only 18 credit hours for completion at Rutgers University. Many of our courses are offered late in the afternoon/evening to accommodate working professionals.
