Event Description

The number of medical schools in the US has only increased in the past five years, creating a demand for medical educators. Join us to hear from Akshata Naik, PhD on "From Pipettes to Pedagogy: Journey of a Life Science Graduate," Dr. Naik will discuss how a PhD in Life sciences can open doors to a career in medical education. Not many PhDs or postdocs know about this career path, and it can be a fruitful and rewarding job.

Come meet those employees and learn how they have applied the various research skills learned in graduate school and postdocs to the consumer industry and tour the facility and labs. This is a great way to literally step inside an industry setting and network!
