Doing a postdoc in biotech is a great way to get your foot in the door of industry and see if you like biotech. Small companies allow you to wear many hats and learn all aspects of industry which helps you with your long-term career prospects.  Attend this panel to meet scientists from different local startups to hear their stories and advice on how to navigate this career path. You will also learn about an exciting fellowship opportunity for recent PhD graduates to have a 2 year postdoc at a company in New Jersey funded by the NJ Department of Labor and Workforce Development.

Please join the School of Graduate Studies as we celebrate our 2023 progress in equity, diversity, and inclusion strategic plan implementation and reflect on all the work left to do. We are pleased to build on the momentum generated by the University-wide Progress Summit and hope you will join us in conversation about equity and excellence in graduate education.

Graduate student members of the SGS Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Graduate Student Advisory Committee will share the projects they've been working on to advance DEI in the following areas:

• Curriculum and Mentoring
• Holistic Student Support
• Graduate Student Engagement and Outreach
• Professional Development and Career Preparation
